Snapok + OpenRouter

OpenRouter gives you one key for many model vendors. Snapok has an OpenRouter preset, so you can switch the model behind translation and Ask without changing anything else.

What it powers in Snapok

  • Translate a screenshot and keep its layout
  • Ask a question about a screenshot (vision model)
  • Automatic titles and tags (off by default)

Your key is stored only in the macOS Keychain and sent only to OpenRouter. Snapok has no server in between.

Set it up

  1. 1Open Snapok Settings (⌘,) → Models.
  2. 2Add a provider with the OpenRouter preset and paste your API key.
  3. 3Add the model IDs you want, then test the connection.
  4. 4Select a default model. Translate and Ask now use it.
  5. 5Enter OpenRouter model IDs exactly as listed on openrouter.ai.
  6. 6Test the connection in Settings → Models before using it.
