How to translate a screenshot

  1. 1Add a provider and default model in Settings → Models.
  2. 2Open a screenshot in the editor (⌘E).
  3. 3Choose AI Tools → Translate Image and pick a target language.
  4. 4Fix anything you want in the translation editor, then copy or save.

Bring your own model

Anthropic or any OpenAI-compatible provider, with presets for OpenAI, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, MiniMax, and Z.AI. Keys live only in the macOS Keychain.

Text-only by default

Only recognized text is sent. Turn on visual context if your model supports images and you want help with OCR mistakes.

A real editor for the result

Adjust each text block’s translation, font size, colors, and box; compare with the original; undo or reset.

Your original stays put

The translated image is a separate library item. Copy or save it at the original pixel dimensions.

Does Snapok charge for translation?

No. You pay your model provider directly at their rates; Snapok adds nothing.

How is the original text removed?

With sampled flat colors, not generative inpainting. Check complex backgrounds before exporting.
