Snapok + OpenAI

Pick the OpenAI preset, paste your key, and choose a model. Snapok sends only what each feature needs, and only when you use it.

What it powers in Snapok

  • Translate a screenshot and keep its layout
  • Ask a question about a screenshot (vision model)
  • Automatic titles and tags (off by default)

Your key is stored only in the macOS Keychain and sent only to OpenAI. Snapok has no server in between.

Set it up

  1. 1Open Snapok Settings (⌘,) → Models.
  2. 2Add a provider with the OpenAI preset and paste your API key.
  3. 3Add the model IDs you want, then test the connection.
  4. 4Select a default model. Translate and Ask now use it.
  5. 5Use a vision-capable model if you want Ask or visual context.
  6. 6Text-only models work for translation by default.
