Snapok + Claude

Snapok speaks the Anthropic Messages API natively. Add your key once and Claude powers screenshot translation, Ask about a screenshot, and optional automatic naming.

What it powers in Snapok

  • Translate a screenshot and keep its layout
  • Ask a question about a screenshot (vision model)
  • Automatic titles and tags (off by default)

Your key is stored only in the macOS Keychain and sent only to Anthropic Claude. Snapok has no server in between.

Set it up

  1. 1Open Snapok Settings (⌘,) → Models.
  2. 2Add a provider with the Anthropic Claude preset and paste your API key.
  3. 3Add the model IDs you want, then test the connection.
  4. 4Select a default model. Translate and Ask now use it.
  5. 5Choose the Anthropic preset; the base URL is filled in for you.
  6. 6Claude models accept images, so you can turn on visual context for translation and use Ask.
